Some “Fresh” reviews:
“This spin-off/prequel has the same primitive, lived-in, emotional, loopy, let’s-put-on-a-show spirit that made us fall in love with the original trilogy.” -Peter Travers, Rolling Stone.
“Rogue One” is definitive proof: “Star Wars” is back, baby.”– Sara Stewart, New York Post
“A hugely enjoyable film, and an impressive sign of things to come. This is the perfect film for a Star Wars fan”. -Jon Lyus, HeyUGuys
“Star Wars movies have been dazzling, infuriating, heartbreaking, silly, witty, convoluted, gripping and overblown. But until Rogue One: A Star Wars story, I don’t think ‘dull’ was the most appropriate adjective.” Lawrence Toppman, Charlotte Observer
“It’s a downer. It’s morally tangled. The characters are as depressed as the scenario, and Michael Giacchino’s music can’t make it better.” -Mick LaSalle, San Francisco Chronicle
Regardless of what the critics and reviews say, it’s a safe bet that millions of Star Wars fans will go out and see Rogue One in theaters.
