Star Wars The Force Awakens – Most anticipated film of 2015

According to a recent poll done by the site, the newest installment of Star Wars The Force Awakens is peoples most anticipate film of 2015.

2015 is expected to be a huge year for movies with films including a new Bond film, Jurassic World, a new Mission Impossible, TomorrowLand and The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 hitting theaters as well.  Last year (2014) The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1 was the most anticipated film. The new installment of Avengers (also a Disney film) took 2nd place for most anticipated film of 2015.

Fandango pulled 1,000 fans between December 22nd-December 29th, and the site also polled the biggest film stars and breakthrough performers among other categories.

A lot of the hype surrounding the newest Star Wars installment has a lot to do with the new 88 second trailer that was viewed by over 51 million people on YouTube alone.
