Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens to Debut Trailer This Friday

Disney has decided to debut an 88 second movie trailer for The Force Awakens on this coming Friday November 28th.  J.J. Abrams tweeted out a hand written note confirming the release of the trailer, along with a hand drawn image of Tie Fighter blowing something up; which could be a hint that the Empire is back.

The odd part about this is that Disney is only showing this trailer at only thirty select theaters (2 in Canada and 28 in the States), which will leave a lot of fans upset if one of these theaters isn’t close.  The day after Thanksgiving typically is a huge movie weekend, so it’s no surprise that Disney has selected this particular weekend to debut the trailer, but limiting it to such a select few theaters is certainly a head scratcher.
